T. K. Reed, author of Quasar and the Eye of the Serpent
I am originally from Valley Station, Kentucky and now live in Southern Indiana with my husband, two sons, and two dogs. I enjoy writing, reading stories and watching movies. I hope to have a series of books with Quasar and the two teen heroes. I am currently working on a sequel to Quasar and hope to finish it real soon. 

As far as education goes; I graduated from Bluegrass Christian School and The Institute of Childrens Literature; Writing for Children. That was a two year on line course that instructed you through creative writing for magazines and book writing. If you are interested in writing for children I would definitely recommend the course. It is well worth the investment.

I have cleaned most of my life; I worked at Jefferson County Public Schools as a custodian for nearly ten years. Before that I worked at Pizza Hut for eight years,  mainly cleaning. I have now owned my own cleaning business for eleven years called The Magick Broom Cleaning Service. I primarily clean residential homes. At that time of my life I didn't mind cleaning. In fact I really enjoyed it because I am good at it and its what I know. I've done it all my life.

I am older and at a different time of my life now. I wrote this book not only to show my children what they can do with lots of hard work and dedication but I also wrote this book in hopes of getting out of the cleaning business some day. I do hope to be an inspiration to others who also wish to get out of something they no longer want to do. I hope that they see their dream as reachable as I do mine. I hope that Quasar and the Eye of the Serpent becomes something of a success so that others can see a true magical experience happen; in real life and not just fiction.

I do believe in magic and I hope my readers do too. To believe in oneself is more than a belief; it is truly magic.
