This book was written for anyone that enjoys reading books on magic, mythology and a magical adventure, but in all actuality it is written for children ages 8-15.  My children are ages 12 and 15 and they both loved it and I've heard many adults of all ages that enjoyed it too. Like I always say find your inner child and read it and I think you'll like it, if not love it too!!
